Sniper Skin is excited to officially announce our first pro athlete, Kiel Matisz

Sniper Skin is proud to announce that we have officially partnered with professional athlete Kiel Matisz.  A Hamilton native and coach at Thrive Lacrosse summer camp, Matisz is committed to growing the sport. He is currently in fourth place on the Georgia Swarm, the number one team in the East Division. The five-year pro recorded a career-best with 48 assists in his 2016 season, which ranked 16th-most in the NLL. He was named finalist for the NLL Sportsmanship Award, which honors players who demonstrated exemplary levels of leadership and sportsmanship.

The partnership is aimed at training and opportunities for lacrosse players to become more involved and informed with the sport.

“My passion for educating others on the game of lacrosse made for an ideal partnership with Sniper Skin,” said Matisz. “Their product is something that I can proudly stand behind, and their mission is aligned with my own. As a coach at Thrive Lacrosse, I’m able to share Sniper Skin’s mission with the community that I work with.”

“We’re very excited to be partnering with Kiel,” says Lee Wright, president of Sniper Skin. “Our hope is that we’re able to educate people across Canada and the U.S. about lacrosse and encourage them to get involved in the sport.” Through training videos, activities, events and more, Sniper Skin and Matisz will be embarking on a year-long campaign to get people off the bench and into the game.
